In large Western cities like London, it’s a melting pot of races, religions and beliefs. In a place like this, social cohesion is very important and to have social cohesion there needs to be tolerance from everybody involved. Anybody in this environment that claims exclusive belief and exclusive faith and truth, is seen to be ignorant and arrogant but also seen to undermine the social cohesion of the community. Christian faith actually believes in exclusive truth, the idea that there’s one way to God and one way to knowing God. We want to ask is that reasonable or is it ridiculous?
